About Us

Founder and Managing Director

Tom Cody is the Founder and Managing Director of CMP Solutions, a company specialising in customised and sustainable solutions for the manufacturing and processing industry in Ireland. CMP Solutions help clients to achieve their cost-reduction goals through the design and implementation of both capital and operational cost-reduction plans / strategies.

Before establishing CMP Solutions, Tom spent 16+ years in a highly regulated, drug/device manufacturing environment, primarily in business-critical roles such as Engineering, Operations, and Quality. Tom’s relentless drive for excellence, combined with his analytical mind and passion for supporting others to reach their potential, ultimately resulted in him becoming an Engineering Manager and Business Leader. Tom has overseen, led, and been involved in several high-value projects and programs, up to the value of 10 million Euro. Projects have ranged in nature from technical, operational, logistical, and behavioural based. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Manufacturing along with other educational awards in Engineering.

Director

Elaine Cody is a Director of CMP Solutions and passionate about her role managing the Leadership and Executive Coaching department of the business. Through coaching practice, Elaine helps businesses and executives to grow and maximise their potential. This is a talent that Elaine has developed and honed during 18+ years of experience in the electronics, automotive, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. Over the course of her career, Elaine has held roles from Engineer to Senior Manager across multiple functions including Engineering, Operations, and Quality.

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological University Dublin (formerly DIT) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from University College Dublin (UCD). Elaine has also had her Leadership & Executive Coaching expertise formally recognised, achieving an Advanced Diploma in this area.
